Full name

Your full name is required so that we can confirm with the person or organization who referred you that you are an actual person and member of your community. The OATH Network is based on known relationships — everyone in the network is known personally by at least one other person in the network.

PRIVACY: Your full name will not be shared with anyone outside of the OATH Network system. Within the system, you will have control over whether people in the system see just your first name (and last name initial), or full name (you might reserve that for teammates on any teams you create or join), or a handle you can create on your profile once signed up.

Finding Your Community

We use your voting address zip code to give you access to the correct State and County jurisdictions in the system. That will give us the ability to, once you are signed up, allow you to further refine the jurisdiction communities you are a part of (e.g., townships, school districts, boroughs, etc.).

Each of the jurisdictions you are connected to in this system will, assuming the volunteers are in place, provide you with all the measures that will be voted on in that jurisdiction along with your ability to vote on each one.

Note that your votes are used to directly inform your representative of how you want them to vote. Isn't that where accountability begins?

BTW, it takes volunteers to work with the public office to receive any measures that office is going to be voting on and enter them into the system. If you would like to join one of the teams (called Office Chapters) in your area that does that, check them out once you are signed up — any that have openings will have a JOIN button on them.
